For those who keeps asking how is Dreamhost for hosting my stuff.
 

Had one blog running on autopilot with seo all in one plugin and auto-poster. Dreamhost cuts off my account stating that this one domain alone is overloading the server. End of story. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

That sucks.

Strange I've had 10+ WP installs there updated automatically and checked the clock cycles to make sure I was not going over. I didn't even reach near half of their limit and it all worked fine.

Fiiiiiigs.

Wow .. I just realised I could be saving over $2k a month just by moving all my paysites, sites and blogs over to dreamhost! Bargain !

Good... maybe you guys will learn that $3.95 hosting will NOT work with adult content. :2 cents:

Their bandwidth and disk usage limits are lies. If you get anywhere near their limits they 503 you and force you into virtual dedicated at $50 to $100/month...I just keep them as a $100/yr backup now.

I'd expand that to say dreamhost is a bad idea for ANY
web based business. You don't base your business on the
cheapest piece of crap you can find.

obviously you didn't make use of their private server feature

I have been using that for 4 months and they don't cut me off

DH is a joke :) no doubt about that.

This is why I have all of my blogs hosted at National Net.

Hell, the other day I asked them to install ten domain names and set up databases for them, and they installed the most recent version of Wordpress for me without asking. Now that's service.
