Anyone else having trouble with gmail?

Everytime I log-in, the "loading" bar gets to about 99.9% and freezes but the basic HTML view option works just fine. :(

Khulan 01-19-2009 01:56 PM

Check your pc! Gmail is the safest and fastest one.

Jdoughs 01-19-2009 01:56 PM

Refresh it when it sticks. I think this only happens when you switch from one google login, to another.

Ayla_SquareTurtle 01-19-2009 02:02 PM

Are you on firefox? If so, try searching for updates to all of your extensions and add-ons, update, restart FF and your computer. If it still doesn't work, try loading FF in safe mode. It could be one of your extensions causing it.

Looks like that seems to be the case. Thanks guys, will look into some of these. First time I've ran into this problem. Not really a big deal, just wondering if I was the only one.

alias 01-19-2009 02:32 PM

just refresh it, this has happened forever with gmail

not sure if it is still there but there was a message that would tell you to refresh when it happened so they must know about it over at g

Gmail is better than virtually anything you pay for, and unlike most other addresses (isp, domain, etc) it will probably work just fine 10 years from now.

Domains get sold, ISPs get changed, paid companies disappear, etc. Google, however, isn't likely to disappear any time soon, and they'd never risk alienating their customer base by removing Gmail.

A-n-D-r-E-S 01-19-2009 03:00 PM

It's working fine for me...

Rochard 01-19-2009 04:24 PM

Check to make sure that there isn't an attachment that isn't d/loading or uploading incorrectly. Also, some messages with multiple large attachments can this. If it is an attachment, just delete either the attachment or the e-mail.

HorseShit 01-19-2009 04:45 PM

I have over 9,000 gmail accounts

RevTKS69 01-19-2009 05:08 PM
