actually thats not true 2 of the top 10 selling cars of 2008 belonged to GM. The problem is no financing, thats why nissan is cutting 20k people loose.

One of my friend that works there makes $53/hr putting 2 screws in door panels. He said he would rather quit before taking any kind of decrease in pay.

With GM I they have loads of small cars in europe (vauxhall) so they already have the chassis designed for smaller fuel efficient 4 bangers and TDI engines...
