i couldnt understand people pay that much for those tube domains the first time you started posting these threads, and i still cant understand it but hey, when people are willing to pay i wouldnt complain either haha.... just think it is crazy.

it is hard to believe how tube names have exploded in value, but once you get your feet wet in this market you quickly learn that there are lots of companies shopping for tube names. once they have their sites set on a name, nothing will stop them from buying it-- not even exorbitant prices.

good question- the last few weeks had some 5-figure sales reported on very generic 2 word tube names. i also read a few articles in the last month about how youtube is gobbling a 1/4 of the world's bandwidth. predictions are that video sharing will continue to expand. my personal opinion is that it will continue to expand, but that the space will become over saturated & basically the late arrivals are 'fighting over the same nickel'. in the short run tube names should continue to welcome increased demand. at some point in the next year, my guess is that the name market for tube sites will peak and then start a downward spiral. maybe this will spawn a trend towards names with the keyword movie, or another offshoot. nothing this hot lasts forever, so we are hitting it as hard as possible right now.

These tube names are being bought by complete fucking noobs to the business. I'd like to see if anyone here who makes a dime in the industry would actually buy one of those tube domains rather than just developing a good product with a completely unrelated name.
