Canon EOS 5D for $1500 - body only - good deal?
 

Supposed to be only a month old, no problems, no scratches, etc..

I don't know much about DSLRs, but this seems like a really good deal.

I think it is a great price, if it is just one month old? Just the house or with more? I know (in Norway) the EOS 5D house cost around $3,000....

Body and basic kit, no lens.. just the battery charger, wrist strap, etc..

I was set on a 450D Rebel XSi, then saw this.. the total package for the 450D is about $1,500 with everything.. two lenses, tripod, battery grip, flash, filter kit..

I'm new to DSLRs and don't really need a high end camera.. but it seems like a really good deal :)

5D Mark II, right?

It's probably a fair deal but I've seen better offers.

It's a great deal...BUT, in this economy you can very easily talk that way down.

Not a Mark II.. at this point, it's a local Craigslist ad (panama). I haven't followed up yet.

I've seen a few used 5D here locally for $1100

on keh.com I saw them from $1299 to $1499.

If someone is really looking for a Canon 5D I have one for sale, will even toss in a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 lense and a canon 28-135 lense (I think thats the lense, its brand new, never been used) for $1400... camera is in great shape...just used it for my last shoot.
