MAC USERS -- adium question
i use adium to log into icq, aim, and yahoo... this morning i open my adium and only my yahoo contacts shows up.. i get an adium message saying:
"The AIM servers were temporarily unable to send your buddy list. Your buddy list is not lost, and will probably become available in a few hours." But not only do my AIM contacts not show, my icq contacts dont show either. i tried logging into icq by itself and it shuts itself down before any contacts load. Anyone else had this problem? it is just a 'wait and see' situation'? |
My adium is working ok, AIM & ICQ..

Mine has been acting up today with my entire ICQ & AIM contact list connecting/disconnecting at the same time :disgust
|
Adium has always been buggy on my Mac so I stopped using it....
|
Something was up with the ICQ connection through AdiumX earlier for me, all contacts kept going offline then would all pop back up on the screen few minutes later, has happened 3 times so far this morning.
|
Mine has been doing that for the past few days too. I had multiple AIM accounts and multiple ICQ accounts.
I shut down one of the AIM accounts and that did the trick. Was getting the same thing with the disconnecting and reconnecting. All AIM related. |
Everything is loading up fine here
|
And right after I post that it happens again, screen just filled up with all contacts coming online. :error
|
Works great here.

Thanks for the replies... magically my contacts suddenly appeared after just leaving my adium open with no contacts showing. it took about an hour or so before they showed up though.
looks like its working fine now :thumbsup |
Adium is a GREAT application. Any time there are probs (which is rarely) it is always just a "wait and see" fix.
