Oh don't get me wrong, I love them. But an update would be nice. And I'm sure they are working on it

I told myself that if im going to be serious about what I do I need to pay for hosting that I can depend on and bitch about when it goes down.

I talked with matt yesterday and they are working on it.

So how does the setup work, you join their sponsors and get paid slightly less which pays for hosting?

You pay 50% of revenue which you get from sales.Honestly i dont know how revshare hosting still lives considering these days you need to spend a lot of bandwith to get sale.

They have approved sponsors.

B/w is cheap.

Not to bash them or anything...but I'm suprised they're still around.

They made sense when bandwidth was $150 per meg....but now that you can get it for $4/meg it doesn't seem worth it to take the lower sponsor payouts and not be able to move if/when you have a problem.

I had a site there years ago. It's not always less. They had (maybe still have) some sponsors paying more to RSH affiliates than their regular affiliates.

Most people cannot really get 4.00 quality BW. What you get is low end BW and at 400.00 for 100 meg or other large bulk deals, so since you cannot really do the full amount you never really get the 4 buck price, thats just an over selling trick done by just a few lowere budget hosts. .:2 cents:

back in the day the sponsor payout was $35 per sale, but $30 for revsharehosting users or $30 vs $25 etc
