Everyone has their own definition to this. But the simplest is that it usually involver tattooed, goth, punk, emo, or pierced girls that do not look like "mainstream porn".

I wouldnt say that. There is definitly a particular "look" and "lifestyle" associated with the genre as well as how the content is produced, distributed, and marketed.
