What are some good movies I should add to the queue?

I'm thinking of cutting out cable for a few months and joining too...
Did you get the little download thingy that lets you download the movies too?

Yeah, although I have my doubts I will be using that feature anytime soon.

I got suckered into it myself. An aunt gave me a free month giftcard and of course you must supply all of your billing details - bastards.

Had no plans on joining myself and pretty much resisted it. I suppose I could of just not used the card but I did not want it to go to waste.

What genre do you like? Share a few movies that blew your mind maybe, or had you laughing or crying.

I figure though.. for $99 bucks... (for the equipment) then $8 something per month.. I can download them all I want legally.. on the big TV.. and not have to deal with the spyware and shit on the torrents...

The Prestige was good... Departed is good... the Mel Gibson war movie.. we just watched it the other day.. I can't think of it.. but its about the first team into Vietnam with helicopters...

I have watched it a few times and still find things amusing about it.

Netflix has a thing where if you spend some time rating movies you've already seen, it makes some pretty good recommendations.

Rate as many movies as you can and Netflix will start recommending genres and movies to you. The more movies you rate the more accurate their recommendations.

I love Netflix, I am behind on the Big Love saga so I am catching up with their discs!

That's one of the great features with netflix. You select films you've liked and the software makes suggestions. I didn't think I would like Netflix as much as I do. Signed up nearly a year ago and it's been flawless.

I would think if someone did not have time for it they are doing something very wrong. One of the main reasons to stay self employed was so that I could have time to do things I wanted. Sure I am as busy as hell when I am working but hell if I had no time to goof off, veg out, or enjoy myself I would know for a fact something went very wrong.

Haven't you people ever heard of a library?

My local library has rows and rows of movies I can check out. I had never seen the Sopronos and about six months ago, one season at a time, I checked them all out and watched them. The selection is pretty good too. Right now I just checked out Charlie Wilson's War.

I was a user for years... I canceled it recently though as I really don't watch much movies anymore.

Pay $1 a month extra and get the Blu-Ray's.

We joined NetFlix when it first came out because our town sold DVD players but you couldn't rent DVDs. LOL We are like member #69.. I'm not kidding.

We have been downloading movies onto our XBox.. they look ok. I don't think we have tried high def ones yet (Hi Adam!). But since we don't always wear our glasses when we watch movies, we probably just can't tell. LOL

OH.. what to watch.. we downloaded Vantage Point, and it was pretty good. I think Don't Mess with the Zohan is in our mailbox.

sure, but actually I am not talking about working, I am talking about how the internet has so much to offer that has nothing to do with work, I don't have enough hours in the day to even come close to taking advantage of it all, entertainment-wise and learning-wise.... I got rid of my tv and don't miss it in the least, but I really don't have enough time in the day to do everything I would like to on the net :2 cents:
