I've been drinking wines like that since 2006! :)

Why don't you have a barrel fire... and while your at it, hit up the Salvation Army soup kitchen for hors d'oeuvres. I hear they are serving a mean 2009 platter of shit on a shingle :2 cents:

I've been making my own wine for a long time also. Since year 2000 or so. I used to make 7-day wine, it didn't taste good at all, but at that time I only cared about getting something to drink as fast as possible. Heh... This one did take about a month to make. But I think I'll go with 3-months next time.

Nice one. I did that too but mine tasted like shit.

Got me drunk though :)

Raf1 03-26-2009 12:22 PM

white or red?

Emil 03-26-2009 12:27 PM

I buy mine from a Swedish online-store, I think they make their own kits. :/

Some basic tips n stuff:
I prefer wine kits with real dried fruit and not just some juice. I think they taste better.

Make the wine in one of those plastic cans I got on the pic and not this model:

It sucks when you're going to get the carbonic acid out of the wine.

Get a airfilter and put it on your waterlock....

For the first time in ~11 years I used 2 kilos of sugar instead of 4 kilos and this stuff does actually taste GOOD. I cant believe it.
(I made white wine this time)

I usually have 0,7 L while laying in the bathtube the next morning so it's great!

HandballJim 01-14-2012 12:13 PM

in Italy everyone had their own concoctions, and I am not a fan of red wine but felt funny turning down friendly people when offered wine.

Looks legit :pimp

L-Pink 01-14-2012 12:50 PM

Now you need to design some nice boxes to sell it in and watch out Mondavi brothers.
