I have 4 GA-EX58-UD5 and Never had any issues with them. Runs smooth and if you are into overclocking you can get i7 920 and run it at 3.6GHZ on air without issues or glitches. |
I would go with the ASUS, have a few machines with ASUS motherboards and I've never had a problem with them. :2 cents:

Fucking Asus used to be good but has been nothing but problems lately. My boyfriend builds a lot of systems and he loved Asus boards, but 4 out of his last 6 builds have been flakey and/or had compatibility issues with ram and video cards due to the mobo.
I would recommend Gigabyte over Asus anyday. |
I like Asus boards
No one likes the DFI board?
I have the p6t with my overclocked i7 920 (3.8ghz), and its been great. Best board I've built with yet.
The P6T Deluxe with the i7 920 is what you want. Throw in 6GB worth of DDR3 7-7-7-20 memory as well.
I always go with DFI boards and have good luck
Asus is for n00bs
can't believe nobody mentioned evga x58, lifetime warranty too
Started with Asus, moved to Gigabyte when one of the Asus boards I wanted wasn't in stock. Haven't looked back since. :)
Asus my man! Just ASUS!!!
ASUS has always made great stuff, and offer great expandability.
