What is a mainstream site worth?

Decided today that I'm going to sell this mainstream project that a friend and I have been working on. Its been making about $70 a day (est $2k/mo) on average for the past few days.

Most adult sites are valued at 3x their monthly revenue, but any thoughts on mainstream? I figured 6x monthly revenue, although a LOT of sites I've been looking at today are going between 12x and 24x.

Its basically a product site for an add on "bot" for a game. I know if someone had the time, they could probably make easily twice what is doing now, but I'm working on bigger projects that I really need to devote my time to, so I was trying to figure what its worth

btw, heres a link to the site for sale if your curious

so you are basing your projected long term income on the last "few days" average?

how much traffic does the site get, or is it all bought traffic?

how easily would the site and traffic method be copied if you were to show the site to a potential buyer?

games generally only have a short lifespan as well, so it is entirely possible that what makes $70 per day now, might make 50 cents a day in a year

not trying to rain on your idea though, just throwing out some thoughts that will for sure come up when you actually try to sell the site

Since bots for games can be blocked at any time, I'd say that it's not worth a whole lot :2 cents:

I'll give you $1k for it.

Your point is completely valid. I am estimating from what I have made over the past 5 days with very little advertising. If you posted it in forms or marketed to the members who supply their email address, you could easily make a few grand very quickly, i just dont have the time to do it right now.

All the traffic mainly comes from paid AdWords traffic and about 50-100 visitors a day from SEO/organic traffic.

Either way, if someone had a few hours to market this, they could make a decent amount of money over the next few weeks. My guess is this game will continue to be active for the next 6+ months at least

its not really a "bot" that plays the game for you, but rather helps you do some tasks and things that you wont be able to do when your sleeping or at school/work.

It works off of the online version which runs on your computer, its not running off a server
