If you want to enter into a state that has set up a checkpoint, they absolutely do have the right to ask questions and search your car. What fucking planet are you from? If this was not legal, the checkpoints would have already been removed. Instead, they've been up for years.

Well I don't think that the police should have used so much force as his story goes. But for some reason I don't trust he is telling 100% of the story. Have you ever seen anyone stay clam and resit the law. I think he was probably making a big scene and way less cooperative then he lets on.

I got stopped at the border coming back from Mexico into the US. They for some reason wanted to search my car. I had to pull over they l looked around inside and asked a few more questions from everyone I was with and that was it. I didn't act like I had a dead body in my car, and fight with them. I nobody ever laid a finger on me or threaten too.

You are so far from right you can't even see it from where you are standing. Not only did this guy NOT deserve to get beat he is 100% correct in everything he did. We live in a country that has given us the protection against such actions in the 4th Amendment.

If he had answered their questions from the start, chances are they would never have wanted to search his car.
