Phatservers / AmeriNOC - how long for account to get activated?
 

I have tried to purchase a virtual server on amerinoc using their promotion code for 1 month free spring offer.

First time I tried it shows the status as 'fraud' after a few minutes. The second time is still pending after a few hours.

How long does it take to get running?

Oh yeah, when I go to submit a support ticket I get no form, just a blank page (on IE7).

I tried you on ICQ, no response so far and just sent an email to the address listed in your sig. There are no pending orders that match up to any of your info here. Please reply to [email protected] or to my ICQ request so we can figure this out for you. Any orders that get tagged for Fraud get manually reviewed and efforts are made to verify the info provided. If we can't contact you with the provided info the account doesn't get activated. If all info was valid please check your spam folder for the new account info email.

www.webair.com has nice virtual accounts.

looks like fixed their support too, i sent them a ticket about creating a pop3 email account and got a reply pretty quick :)

I got the emails saying the account is activated both times. But no further news. I have an icq request from xsmatt replied to it just now.

I recently got myself a phatservers account and have been impressed thus far. I'm sure they'll be quick to respond to any requests you may have in the future.

They've done countless free servicing on my shared server ($9/mo account) to tune it just right for my sites. I told them I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs hosting.

Yep... And he calls it 'shared' instead of 'virtual'...

The cheapest 'Phat' shared is $75 a month... not $9...

That is one site that you know of. He could have more, he could have less. Pretty quick to jump on him.

Should people take his recommendation just on his "word" and no evidence(as in what's your site)?


He has a $9 account and claims "They've done countless free servicing on my shared server".
