unable to upload media in wordpress
 

just started my first wordpress blog this weekend.

I cannot get any media to upload to the media library. both the flash & browser uploaders give me the following error message.

The uploaded file could not be moved to /usr/www/virtual/flyvy/www.example.com/wp-content.

since i just started, there are no widgets or anything new uploaded yet, just the latest wordpress.

Anyone deal with this problem before?

Yes, create a folder named 'uploads' and put it in your wp-content folder and Cmod the 'uploads' folder to 777, then try it again.

Josh.. No offense, But slow down a little and read the directions on that stuff as well as help files or what ever. Nothing wrong with getting help here but most of the docs on those systems are pretty good, and if you read it yourself you will do better later
