FFMPEG is this all we have?
I am trying to install ffmpeg on to my server and when running the ./configure command after phpize error is : checking for ffmpeg headers... configure: error: ffmpeg headers not found. Make sure you've built ffmpeg as shared libs using the --enable-shared option
Can anyone help me with this? Anyone have the same problem when they tried to install it? Are there any alternative software to use other then ffmpeg? |
ffmpeg-php? install ffmpeg and ffmpeg-devel packages first.

Use yum, much easier.

Thanks guys.
We finally got FFMPEG installed on the server now. (I am assuming it is FFMPEG - PHP). It doesn't seem to bad really. Where can I find more info about Yum? I never heard of that one before. What makes it nicer then the one I am using now? Thanks for the help/advice |
