How did I get banned?

I'm a complete newbie; never submitted anything anywhere, so as far as I know I should be clean in this industry (and any other as well). A few weeks ago I signed up with some sponsors, played around with the marketing tools, while I'm trying to figure out how to upload to my server, what the TGP's want, etc.

So one affiliate had sent me an email with their new FHG's, and the middle links had my affiliate code, but when I clicked through to their page with it, the code changed to something else, and my account stats didn't change, even though I'm on a proxy and changed multiple servers to test it. So I emailed them and they said it's normal and everythings fine--whatever, I'll just make sure to test again.

So a couple of days ago, they send me two emails saying I made two sales through CCbill. Keep in mind I am a newbie, with no submissions, no website, nothing, so how the fuck did I sell anything. I go to my stats page and sure enough, it's showing 2 sales on 3 unique visits (hell of a ratio, I wish I'd taken a screen shot). So now I'm thinking it's some kind of promotion they do to get me to break the $100 point and get paid--it worked--I spent the whole day building galleries for them.

That night I get an email from them saying I'm banned. I've sent them 3 emails asking why with no response. I went from being their highest converter ever to banned in 12 hours. And now I've got 30 galleries built with their shit that I can't use. WTF!

Well honestly it's hard to say without really knowing more. What it SEEMS like is that someone for some reason used your affiliate code to process to fraudulent transactions. But it could be really something more than that and much more complicated, having to do with maybe your use of those proxy servers to run some tests.

Without knowing more or what the programs more, it would be to hard to really say what is going on here. Sorry about your troubles though. :(

Yah sounds like this situation has fraud written all over it. They can't tell you what exactly happened either because they don't wanna give people any ideas. My suggestion would be to find a new program to promote and make sure all your stuff is secure so you don't get any more people using your linking codes for fraud.
