i believe there are most likely many answers that will work for this question/riddle. Here is a shot that appears to meet your riddles criteria of "get at birth" and "end at death", but even this has room for argument - for instance i am assuming "you" is a human.

DOB does not cease to exist because you die.
I wouldn't suggest SS# or any number on a man controlled document - for obvious reasons. IQ - that's a tough one, i would think its too variable.

HOWEVER:
