About 20% of myself is a 'porn person' and yes, you're right we are creepy.

Creepy usually suggests a person is hiding their immoral thoughts or intentions yet they are still leaking out a bit, leading to the creepiness people sense but can't really put their finger on.

Most porn people are pretty up front about how perverted they are. So I would say porn people are not that creepy. Disgusting and tacky, yes, but not all that creepy.

In other words, to the OP -- a certain % of everyone in world is 'creepy' in one way or another, to someone.

Not sure that in comparison to the average person that is really true. Sure, we have creepy elements but I find creepy people in all walks of life. Usually the 'creep' factor comes from a predatory vibe that somebody gives off. You can get that in anywhere from churches to porn.

you think Webmasters are creepy? You should meet some of my customers! I've seen and heard things from some guys 100x creepier than anything I've ever seen at a trade show.. or here on GFY :)

I have met way more creepy people that aren't in the porn business.
