Not sure, I was just doing support for a customer who wanted to cancel but couldn't. And then I found out why he couldn't...because Netbilling is down.

Switching cascade again... this is the third time in a week.

Looks like they've been down for about half an hour so far.

Right Hosting is completely unreachable, and that means Netbilling is too..

My guess is they are replacing a power circuit but someone forgot to fucking warn people that they were doing it.

Anyone have any suggestions for gateways similar to NB? We have our own merchant accounts.

We use authorize.net

What's the integration like? I don't want to give my guys a nightmare of a project, but I do really need something stable.

Well, our script was built to be compatible with them, so was very easy. I guess your results may vary.

This is what I got from them, my servers were shut down by them and I wasn't even notified. Pretty shitty.

I used to use AuthorizeNet. They sent me a letter saying they didn't want to do adult transactions and I had to find another gateway provider. Did they change their mind? The good thing is that we're still able to process with JP Morgan Chase.

Nevermind, it looks like Authorize.Net didn't change their mind. Section 2 paragraph 2 of their TOS states, ?You agree that You will not at any time conduct Your business in any manner that directly or indirectly offers, sells, leases, licenses or displays, delivers, advertises, recommends, or promotes any product(s), service(s), data, information, image(s), text and/or any content which:

2. is associated with any form of adult, sexually oriented, or obscene materials or services, including without limitation, any material clearly designed to sexually arouse the viewer/reader (e.g., books, text, photos, videos, X-rated movies, pornographic materials, etc.), any materials which require individuals to be eighteen (18) or older to view or purchase those materials, escort services, and adult websites;? :(

Yeah, sorry. Wasn't thinking about that issue. Did not effect us, and we do have a NB account sitting around "just in case."

I wasn't looking to move, just FYI. Just perhaps thinking of adding another gateway to add to the cascade.

The 'official word' is that they weren't down, only DNS was - but even on my servers with cached IPs, I got the good old gateway_timeout.

I've had exactly 6 hours of downtime with Savvis in 8 years, and that was due to a really, really, really nasty fibercut.
