CunningStunt 06-11-2009 03:55 AM

They should be able to keep Tevez now.

Rumours around a deal has been done by United for Ribery too.

voa 06-11-2009 03:57 AM

Damn Real like to make All Star team

prezzz 06-11-2009 04:01 AM

I would take Ribery over that queer little ballerina Ronaldo any day. :2 cents:

Ross 06-11-2009 06:51 AM

Couldn't believe it when I checked this morning. Utd won't be too badly affected by selling Ronaldo so long as they keep Tevez and buy a new Left and Right Winger. I would also sell Berbatov and bring Huntelaar from Real Madrid to replace him.

Its gonna be interesting next season watching Real Madrid. Their fans demand so much from them. The first time they lose a game all hell will break out. Rumour has it they also want David Villa for £40 million and a top defender too. Insane.

Zlatan "Ibra" Ibrahimovic

Buy low, sell high anyway??

Anyone know the figure ManU paid for Ronaldo -- 80 mill £, that's just a lot of
damn money.

Sarah_Jayne 06-11-2009 07:02 AM

Almost enough to buy Newcastle.

Verbal 06-11-2009 07:11 AM

Good riddance ... the EPL will be a better place for it.

Si 06-11-2009 07:23 AM

I'm a Manchester United fan.

And I won't miss him what so ever. his antics on the pitch cost us more games than any of the fuck ups other players made. His attitude was becoming more of a burden on the team than his skill was being of benefit (if that makes sense)

He had a terrible season in my eyes and brought the moral of the team down with his pathetic crying and whining to the ref.

Atleast that should mean Rooney can go back to his favourite position and hopefully tevez will stay aswell.

Cya Ron you fucking idiot :thumbsup

I think it was between £16-£22 million.

So nearly 300% profit! thats not a bad turnover :1orglaugh

Correction:

"Ronaldo, who joined United in 2003 from Sporting Lisbon for £12.2m, was strongly linked with a move to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2008."

Twistys Tim 06-11-2009 07:31 AM

Great deal for Man U. They buy him for £12 and sell him for £80. This will help free up Rooney to play a more central role, and I would think they will buy Ribery to fill the vacant winger spot. Berbatov should go, and if they had any sense Tevez would stay and take Berbatov's starting spot.

I would love to see Tevez go to LFC to play alongside Torres -- that would set them up nicely.

polish_aristocrat 06-11-2009 07:32 AM

call me old fashioned or a hypocrite, but spending such money for players is just wrong IMO...

Seems profitable, more so than properties at this moment.

Juist think about it...

Gives "flipping a new meaning" --- as "flip a football player"

"Football players for lease -low rates""
:pimp
