when i first got into this biz close to 10 years ago, my favorite porn star was anna mall. then a few years later it was crystal steel/briana bank, now its random chicks, mostly under 25

it has to be a tough biz for people that wear our their welcome. each year after the first your market value has to be lower and lower, where do porn stars go when they are done with this biz?

Some use porn for the exposure to go onto Feature Dancing ,or charging high priced privates to fans. Others that are more intelligent get more into the business side of things. I think building a fan base then having your own solo site is a good choice for girls.

18 - 24 mos... that's about it. They can stretch it if they are smart.... so obviously.. not many of them do that.

Anna didn't have much choice as she was killed in a car accident. If that had not happened she would still be a top star in this biz.

As far as how long do they last...I think it's really dependent on each individual performer. Some of them literally come and go. While others realize that they can have a long and lucrative career.

Right now Nina Hartley can make more money than she ever did. The milf niche is the most profitable there is, and with her branded name...she comes to the game with millions of fans already there. Unfortunately I don't think that Vicky Vette is promoting her correctly or that her site is set up right. I think I could take that over and make it a million dollar a year site. But it would take a focused vision, good writing of the scenes, correct camera angles and letting Nina's personality shine through.

Anyway, that's my thought. I think that pornstars have the same ability as musicians to grow old with their audience. It's just gonna take the smart ones to do it. My plan is...in 40 years Claudia-Marie will be the top money making Gilf in the world. :pimp
