I'm Thinking Of Posting My Traffic Stats And Sales Here Every Month

I'm not going to post anything specific but I thought it might be a good way to get some input from peeps around here and see if I can get help tweaking my sponsors and they way I promote them.

MrLuvr 06-12-2009 09:02 PM

You can post them here, but don't expect too much help. 99% of the posters here are total morons.

Business threads are ignored and they quickly sink to the bottom. Most of the replies you get will be sig whores and affiliate reps trying to push their dying programs.

The webmasters who actually do know something will never help you with anything substantive. They keep that information to themselves.

I think that's a great idea. It may help this board have more bizz threads. Use your ref codes though to get people to sign up under you. We need more people like you to get a gauge on stuff.

people would have to see your sites, site stats, analytics, budget, traffic sources etc. to give any real info on your stats.

Better keep it for Yourself...

If you're successful and making money, you'll be showing your competition how to do it. I'd keep it quiet if I were you.

I planned doing just that for a couple reasons: Give people a headsup in the biz, and to show what programs do well or do not well.

But i will tell you this, you will either get the retarded replies from people saying "You suck, your site sucks, your not making pimp money" (obviously the people who dont have anything to show for themselfs) and/or the "Stop bragging and spamming, we are ballers, you are not your fake, bragging biotch" if you DO post the higher amounts.

Thats why I decided to put those stats ON the project instead.

But good luck, its still a good idea, but you will get a lot of heat from it. Sadly..

probably best to keep, you can just share real stats and try to get some refs

Go for it. Base it on analysis case studies similar to http://www.highrevenue.com

KingpinMedia 06-13-2009 08:54 PM

true, I'm sick of this "industry" board being flooded with posts of pictures of people's islands and what NBA player's nuts people are jumping on the finals. More biz threads might save this board.

Traffic stats across all sites and overall sales for each month. So keyword stats or anything else.
