what antivirus program do you use ?
 

Curious what others use or have used.

Trend Micro. The current version is a bit of a hog, but nothing gets by it.

They also have an online one that you can use for free.. What made me switch to them was I got a virus using Norton. when it could not fix it, I called them and they told me to use the online one of Trend micro. Go figure

comodo antivirus+firewall

I use nod32 (the one with firewall)

nod32 has long been known to be the best AV out there, not to mention NOT bring your PC down to a slow crawl

Eset Smart Security

I also use Norton 360

avg on windows machines. I despise norton anti virus

Kaspersky at home, Avast at office

mcafee still works fine

I use all, but the best are nod32 and a good firewall!

I'd NEVER use a program like Norton or McAffee.

Nod32 is excellent, it takes up very little system resources and it updates all the time.

Avast is also another good program.

gonna install nod32 and uninstall norton 360

ESET Smart Security 4.0 Business Edition, I just can't be happier with it. I recommend it to everyone.

Avast, here...

I was using ZoneLabs ZoneAlarm Extreme. Did a good job for a while, was really good at identifying spam, etc.. the firewall portion was pretty solid.

However, a guest plugged in a USB drive and my PC was immediately hammered by a trojan - don't remember the name. ZoneAlarm would catch part of the processes it used, but would not ID and eradicate the trojan itself. Pretty shitty.

I installed ESET/Nod32, and it immediately caught and eradicated everything. It found 5 different viruses that ZoneAlarm never flagged. Very sweet.

Low on resource useage, and it's almost a set it and forget it kind of thing.

i used norton for years but just switched to avg last year - so far so good!

Avast doing fine in my box.

I've got norton and it pisses me off :mad:

I need a new one.

Use to use zone alarm security suite for a 3 years then heard of AVG and been using avg ever since.

Kaspersky All the Way! Was using nod32 for a long time, which worked quite well!

Nortons AV is a piece of crap. I think every virus coder out there has Nortons number. I use Kaspersky and it has stopped everything. I will never use Nortons again.
