Who is into fishing?

I have been out fishing a number of times on Lake St. Clair this year. I have been catching small mouth bass, silver pike...and I believe a few musky have been chomping down and heading to China with my line :(

Anyone enjoy fishing? Where do you fish and what do you fish for?

mikesouth 06-16-2009 08:57 PM

I fish exclusively offshore these days

snapper, dolphin, cobia, kings, spanish, grouper, amberjack, sailfish, tuna if its in the gulf offshore from Mexico Beach FL I have prolly caught it

When I lived in Florida I fished a ton. red snapper, yellow tail, group. The list goes on. I do some ocean fishing here in ny, fluke flounder, bluefish, black fish. Nothing compared to Florida. Lake fishing in the mountains is pretty decent if your line is light enough, trout, bass.

Itchy 06-16-2009 08:59 PM

I thought I'd try to do some fishing here this year bought a bait caster reel...
That I still haven't mastered so I spend more time pulling rats nests out of the reel and cutting off line then really fishing :X

Haven't even had a bite yet. :1orglaugh

mikesouth 06-16-2009 09:02 PM

Some great pictures in this thread. I miss fishing in Florida. Someone should setup something for Internext Summer.

mikesouth 06-16-2009 09:41 PM

ya know whats hard to believe we have trouble getting people to actually go with us.

so few take it seriously they think we are gonna go out so they can puke into the ocean

when they hear we leave at 4AM and stay out till we limit or it gets past dark and that we take gatorade and water to drink it dawns on them that we are actually going fishing....not drinking...

mikesouth 06-16-2009 09:44 PM

ofa ll the things in life i have learned to do throwing a BIG cast net (12 foot) was the toughest....its second nature now and I can make it look real easy...but damn....

Jack Sparrow 06-16-2009 10:18 PM

What the hell is up with a dead deer in a fishing thread ;)?

SilentKnight 06-16-2009 10:33 PM

Grew up ice fishing on Lake Simcoe (Ont.) back in the day.

christ, I read that as who is into fisting?

LexiLexxx 06-17-2009 01:12 AM

Bass Fishing!

The deer Pics. are nasty/sad, I just hope you at least use the meat....but still sad, I understand the over population deal.

beerptrol 06-17-2009 06:53 AM

I usually fish for cold 12oz'ers. Once in a while I land a catfish, bullhead, bass, walleye or a perch. Depends on what's cooking at the local fish fry.

digifan 06-17-2009 06:59 AM

Fishing and dolphins? Dolphins are marine mammals.. and smarter than a lot of people here.

The fish in the first picture of this thread is a Dolphin aka Dorado so when people in this thread about fishing are referring to a Dolphin they are talking about a fish not a mammal.

raven1083 06-17-2009 07:07 AM

I'm starving for a fish fillet after seeing those photos!

JC Maldini 06-17-2009 07:27 AM

I love Bass Fishing. I grew up in Louisiana and fished the swamps..moved up here to New Jersey and fish a local circuit.

There is nothing better than getting deep into the swamps of Louisiana. You feel like you are a million miles from anyone. It is one of the most relaxing things ever.

PS. Wyldblyss, my grandparents owned a home right on Lake St Clair in Mt Clemens....great memories!!!

Going Bass/Musky fishing on the opener June 26th. Got a cabin for the weekend. Nothing but fishing. ;)

Vicious_B 06-17-2009 07:46 AM

I used to go fishing in the ocean and bay all the time growing up. Haven't gotten to go in a really long time but am going to try and go this summer.

Forest 06-17-2009 07:48 AM

i caught a 6ft sail this year and a bunch of nice dolphin

Tom_PM 06-17-2009 07:49 AM

I used to fish a lot in the susquehanna and chenango rivers, and various small lakes in the ny/pa border region. For the rivers it was mostly walleye and small mouth, some musky/pike as well.
The lakes have largemouth, smallmouth, perch and crappy. Crappy fishing can be tough since they love to suspend and they dont "hit", they just barely inhale and it's tough to detect. Good stuff.

Roby 06-17-2009 07:51 AM

i like fishing also but do not do this often as no time.. pics really great

Strickie 06-17-2009 08:38 AM

I fish a few times a week, usually for large mouth bass. I fish just about all the desert lakes in Arizona.

TheDoc 06-17-2009 08:49 AM

Love it... but it's been awhile. Fav Striper and Crappie, bit of Cat fishing during the stock season is always fun. Pictures are from Lake Texoma - N. Texas.

I love fishing the Gulf of Mexico where I live but......Fishing on the Pacific side of Central America has been the best for me so far. Went to the Tropic Star Lodge in Panama and caught a 350lb Marlin within 3 hours the first day...been "hooked" ever since.

I think the person that started this thread meant FISTING - this is a porn blog right?
Yea I like fisting models if they can take it...I'd rather have my hand in a pussy than in the mouth of a dead fish any day.

undersoul 06-17-2009 11:11 AM

haven't fished in a long time. not into hunting.

1. what happened to that deer? face shot? that a poor shot or intended?
2. how hard is to hunt canadian geese? I mean they are everywhere and can scoop them up with a crab net run by on a ball field. lol

fris 06-17-2009 11:44 AM

used to fish when i was younger, havent in a while

UFGators2007 06-17-2009 11:45 AM

Uh, yeah, its great....only if the girl is into it.

Oops...I thought you wrote FISTING.

Adult Insider Dave 06-17-2009 12:44 PM

I love to fish as well. I live in Minneapolis and we have a ton of fresh water lakes up in northern minnesota. Not the huge fish like you get when you deep sea fish, but some fun musky, walleye, crappie action and great eating!

Ace_luffy 06-17-2009 01:22 PM

im enjoying lookin on the pix
