best utility to batch join a bunch of video clips together?
what is the best/easiest/free way to batch join a whole bunch of short video clips together into one long clip?
I have a folder full of a bunch of 30 second clips from my digital camera and I want to be able to drop the whole folder into a program and come out with an auto joined big video file with all of the clips in order..... is it easily possible? |
ffmpeg on the server then use command line.
|
Windows movie maker can do it on the PC, it just takes a while.

Use this then http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/index.html BUT!!!! All the vids must be compatible and mpeg or avi Click "file/mpeg tools/merge cut". |
mpeg splitter/joiner. not free, but cheap.
|
Could always resort to ye olde DOS copy command in a pinch.
copy /b clip1.mpg+clip2.mpg+clip3.mpg allclips.mpg Works, but no "undo" so be careful. |

Video Charge still rules the roost.
