It was by far the best movie of that year. I bought the Bluray. It has excellent repeat value. Shane Black (Lethal Weapon) really knows how to write great dialog!

yeah, and i didnt have a new (at least to me) movie for a long, long time with so many situations that made me explode in laughter. and i just zapped in by accident and stayed with it because of Robert Downey Jr. which is one of my favorite actors. did not regret one second

Based on this recommendation I downloaded it and watched it last night. Awesome movie :thumbsup

Robert Downey Jr and Val Kilmer have such an awesome dynamic, I laughed all the way through.
