Any rednecks here? I have an air compressor question
I'm tired of paying $8 a can for air duster shit. Can I buy this and use it in the same way? Unless it is 30lbs it will probably be better.

First question why are you paying $8 a can?
BJ's/Sams have a 3pk or larger for a much better price than 1 can at a time. Second question. Why are rednecks the only ones that would know anything about air compressors? Chances are a redneck knows nothing about computers and what would be safe to use. Using the compressor with out a water condensor or water trap is probably not good as the tanks condensate. A better idea might be get a small vacuum cleaner that can blow air but add an additional smaller tip fromn the 1 inch or so that comes with the vac by using PVC or some such pipe from Lowes or HD. |

It will work fine, but you need to have a water trap, but there is no guarentee that all water or vapor will be out of your 'air'.
|
What do rednecks and air compressors have in common?
anyways, i use a leaf blower |

Air compressor has a hell of a lot of psi ..fuck worrying about the condensations .. you'll blow your keys right off .. careful ..

Just make sure to blow out your lines and valves before use to get all the water out.

Watch your hard drives when using compressed air of any form, I have ruined them by blowing off the computer and driving dust particles through the tiny vent.
|
Lemme take a lookey here. Hold ma beer.
|
How about getting better air filtration to eliminate the dust in the first place?

lol @ the rednecks comment
Anyways... a vacuum with an attachment for computers would be a much better alternative to either the canned air or a compressor. All you are doing with those, is making the dust airborne so it can settle back into your computer again. |
