3G. The improvements for the new one are good though. Better camera, native video, 2x the storage, etc

I have the HTC Tilt smartphone. 2 Iphones in the household and I've never really been impressed.

I LOVE the iPhone but I'm not crazy for AT&T. I was a Sprint user for about 10 years. Only a few issues in all that time. Very rarely got disconnected. But I wanted an iPhone so I let my Sprint account expire and went with AT&T. I've gotten disconnected more with AT&T over the last few months then almost 10 years of using Sprint. WTF???

yup that is the main reason I don't want a iphone. I love my t-mobile cause no matter if I'm in Indiana or Arizona I ALWAYS have a signal and never drop a call. I'm not looking to mess around with a iphone to get it to work with t-mobile cause i like to know if something happens to my phone i can get a new one or it fixed from t-mobile

I have the HTC G1 also and it's an awesome phone. The android platform rocks.

Ive been with tmobile for YEARS and their phone selection is ass. I was waiting to see their new lineup including the Dash 3G and the Touch Pro 2. Come to find out they changed their policy and you are required to have the data plan in order to purchase a smartphone from them. Seems illegal but hey...

I've got a G1. I didn't even look into it before getting it, then was pissed off that it did everything apart from videos. Now it does that too & I can't find much it doesn't do. Best phone i've had so far! xx

Because Im cheap like that. $25-$35 a month for the basic? Nope. I dont need to be wired every second of the day, so wifi is all I need. Gmail sends txt message notifications so I know who I have to return a call to OR read their email. Plenty of businesses have free wifi so...
