Anyone actually drive on a freeway with the hillside burning less than 100 yards away? Pretty apocalyptic imagery I'm sure.

Yeah, I did one night going over the Grapevine. Had a coyote jump across the freeway right in front of me. The hills glowing as embers was surrealistic to be sure (it was like 2 AM and we were pretty much the only people on the road at the time).
