promoting a new site
 

Hello GFY members,

I don't really post much here on this forum. I just read and absorb the info :thumbsup
But now I need your help since I couldn't find what I'm looking for exactly.

I would like to know what is the best way to promote an image hosting site.
The site does allow adult pictures, so no problem there.

Anyone has any idea where to promote/post images on?
I did find a few porn forums. But thought maybe you guys have some other ideas or advise.

putting the link in your sig and posting is a good start

Active participation in the forums is a great tool to getting coverage or your site. Make sure you are posting something of value and not just empty posts to get your sig noticed.

The adult message boards may be a very good start ,for sure :)

Get your site out there on all the social networks (twitter, Flickr..), make a promo movie on youtube, fill it with content by making user accounts yourself, find photo blogs to link with and so on..

Just contact webmasters and some will help by linking to you.....Then you have big head webmasters who want help you get off the ground. But just promote your link where you can and with time you will grow.
