Buying a Blackberry What Should I Get?
 

Ive never had a smart phone never really needed the need for one until now. Need some suggestions on what blackberry I should get.

Why did you decided on a Blackberry?

I got a semi-entry-level LG Invision, and other than ssh (yet) and Skype, it does basically everything I need it to. I'd love to get something with a real keyboard, but is still capable of being used as a phone more than a neutered computer.

Always seem to be problems with BB, scroller stops working, you need to clean it often, BB hates moisture, they lock up "more then iphones".

Ive had 3 BB's but man after i got an iphone im never going back

Can I use an Iphone with a tmobile?

My fiancee has had a blackberry for awhile, no probs at all. Thats why I was leaning that way.

i use tmobile and i got myself the g1.
i love the full keyboard and the apps are very abundant. i was never much into phones and such but now i love this one. i have all sorts of web applications and i just got ahold of a app that lets me update my blogs now. i could go on and on.

You'll have to unlock it with JailBreak then crack it wider with AnySim, but it's possible. If you brick it, well, you're fucked.

Im not that big of a fan of touch screens. Guess I will have to go and physically look at phones tomorrow. I was hoping I could do this all on the internet lol.

i wasnt into them either. however the screens on the other phones were to small so i exchanged it for the g1 thinking i could just use the real keyboard. however the touchscreen stuck on my instantly.

If you find a 'slider' that has a semi-decent full keyboard, please report back? I don't have the patience to deal with the salespeople.

From T-Mobile, get the Blackberry Curve 8900.

I have the Blackberry Storm. My all time favorite phone and I have had a number of smart phones.

Vote for Iphone as well. Best phone ever.

you can hack an iphone in like 10 minutes now a days + they sell these cards that go over sim cards if u dont want to hack them

my iphone is on tmobile. went through 3 bb before getting my iphone, wouldnt go back if u paid me.

I have the blackberry storm, really nice phone, no problems with it locking up or anything else. Blackberry is what iphone wants to be when it grows up

The new BB Tour is a great phone especially if you travel out of North America.

I'm interested in this phone when it comes out...

I have an HTC Touch HD... hate the iphone... but the HTC Touch HD isn't much better

iphone. no comparison

if you need it now, get the bold on at&t or 8900 on TMO. if you can wait, get the 9700 when it's released fall '09. don't get the storm, it's crap. too many bugs and the typing mechanism is poor. even the storm 2 isn't a huge upgrade. make sure it's 3G as well. check out crackberry.com if you want a good source.
