Weird - pretty good pop song in a commercial but done merely by a 1-time collab
I don't normally like songs like this and I may unfortunately be gay now having posted this, but this song is catchy and keep growing on me through the Famous Footwear commercial that I must have been bombarded with about 100 times now.
The crazy thing is that here it sounds like a pretty cleanly produced single by some pop group or singer, and instead it's some random collab project to do just two songs? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentyne_Krush. The other song they did is okay, but not nearly as catchy as this one.
But here I find out what this song is and who did it, figure it's probably already a Billboard hit or something, then try to look the group out of curiosity on AllMusic and Billboard and neither site has them...was like wtf?! I guess it took me by surprise because it reminds me of Pocketful of Sunshine which was a Billboard Top 5 hit and huge for quite a while:
K now time to ungay myself really quick:

Intro made me think of animu shit. That and the handclaps sample in something produced after 1984 - it is not going to be in my playlist. Thanks for the intersting bit of trivia.

I'm a fan of the modern 80's synth-pop sound but the song would be better with a more traditional dance/trance sound.
The melody is good in parts though, would be worth a remix.

You are at it again. We have to meet somewhere, criticize everyone and everything and listen to bad metal!
