Ibill requires more info on afilliates - U.S. anti-money laundering laws -
 

Ibill want us to to place the following in the affilaite news section of the CMI,

ATTENTION ALL REVSHARER?S

By January 1st iBill will be consolidating your RevShare ID?s into a single payment solution. Which will allow us to offer ACH and/or Wire Transfer payments, giving you the ability to receive your money faster and easier then before.
Additionally, in order to comply with U.S. anti-money laundering laws, we will be requiring additional information to better identify RevSharers to whom we make payments on behalf of our Clients. iBill has no cause to believe that RevShare is being used (or even could be used) as a means of money laundering however U.S. regulations do ask that we have some knowledge about the parties to whom we are sending funds.

Over the next week or two we will be emailing you more information on our consolidation and payout processes in addition to your new entity username and password. You will use this username and password to login to your RevShare entity account and update any information we currently have. Please make sure to update all your RevShare ID(s) to your most current information. In addition to your current information we will be asking you to supply one of the following information in the registration process:

- Social Security Number
- Tax ID
- Passport Number
- License Number

You will also be asked to supply us with your bank/remittance locations information where you cash or deposit your current checks. We will be requesting the Name, Address, City, Country, and Zip.

Did anyone using Ibill US see a message in the CMI a few days ago about the Ibill Europe client's revsharer stats being on the blink, etc?

If this message was shown to Ibill US clients as well, then todays message may not apply to Ibill Europe clients ...

Absolutely true about the IRS cracking down on people. I think the adult industry breeds a lot of non-filers (since it seems like a lot of people start in this industry young) or people who think they don't have to report their income because its not (always) being reported on them. I know of a few people within the last 12 months who have had unexpected contact/problems with the IRS.

Lets HOPE this is what all this VISA shit is really about -- collecting revenues. Hopefully they aren't planning on 12 years of Bush (Jebs up next) and trying to make their version of a utopia.

One of my conspiracy theories is that the gov will try to sneak their way into controlling the mail again (USPS has suffered hardcore since email was born). They could do this (control email) by saying that homeland needs to be in charge of a centralized email network -- "All your mail are belong to us" so they can filter it for any terrorist chatter.

However, shortly after they are put into that position, they will probably try to start charging us a per-email fee. Bulk-email will be permitted at that point as well - for a fee of course. And of course they will have demographics on each and every email account (ie minimally, the AGE of the user & you would probably have to OPT-IN to get any adult offers emailed to you.)

I see it happening within 12 years one way or another.

They need to check the laws before trying to require this..

This document is simply proof of the right to drive a motor vehicle and nothing more. It is way abused as identification for other purposes and cannot be legally required for such.

They need it because you can say your name is Joe Shmoe and then when they decide to put out a arrest warrant they cant find you, so with the lic# they can enter it into a natiowide system so if you are ever stoped you will be arrested on that warrant.
