Facebook Quitters: Find Out When Someone De-Friends You
The act of de-friending someone on Facebook may have just become a bit more socially awkward. There?s now a Greasemonkey add-on (available here) that will check your network at scheduled intervals to see if anyone has removed you and alert you when it happens.

A co-worker of mine has 697 'friends' on his fbook at the moment.
I asked him the other day how many of those would go to his funeral? He replied, "95% won't even know I'd died." I said, "Can you name ten friends without looking at your profile?" He couldn't. I was left wonderin' - what's the point in havin' 697 'friends' on fbook? Do people really think more friends = most popular? :helpme:error I can see if he was promoting something and was using fbook as a marketing tool...but that's not the case. |

Sticky talks to 1 - 200. Wow. That's quite a gap. ;)

Good luck getting on either my facebook or myspace. I usally wont add anyone if they arent a close friend or business contact.
I dont add those who are only an acquaintance. |
i don't care enough that anyone "friends' me, let alone "defriends" me.
people take that shit way too seriously. |

OMG I'm not in your top 8 friends anymore?
er, wait... that was MySpace... |
I haven't been on facebook in months except to update my email preferences so I stop getting those dammed emails about so-and-so messaging me or whatever else. I hate social media crap lately.
