Do you exercise, if so... what do you do?

Honestly.....

I do nice power walks, hikes, yoga, walleyball and some kickboxing....of course like many of us, we would like to exercise more often as we in actuality do... average 3 times a week...trying to do 6 times a week.

how about you?

fallenmuffin 09-12-2009 11:53 PM

I just finished Double P90X yesterday. Lost 40 lbs and 9" off my waist. Taking a break as I'm going on vacation in middle October. Will be hitting the gym to maintain from now until then. When I get back I'll be starting Insanity followed by another round of P90X ;)

VeriSexy 09-13-2009 12:13 AM

Recently just crunches and chin ups

bDok 09-13-2009 12:17 AM

run/walk/eliptical at gym while watching tv. day on chest, day on biceps and tris, circuit class at the gym, abs, skateboard, go on walks with dog around the neighborhood. Water ski when I get the time.

StinkyPink 09-13-2009 12:22 AM

I walk from computer to coffee pot, computer to coffee pot, computer to coffee pot... about a dozen times an hour. 6-10 hours daily.

Sometimes I even run if I am in a hurry to get to the computer so I don't miss something, or to the coffee pot if I really need the next cup NOW!

Often times it wears me out I get so exhausted, I just HAVE to nake another pot of coffee. Then it is all over again.

i just got out of the hospital for a crohns flare. i was about to start the "insane" workout DVD's. you watch the DVD and follow along to what they do. not for the timid it really gets your heart pumping from what i heard. before that i did walking like you but with half jogging. i am just getting back into working out. i own a bowflex blaze without the shoulder connection it wont fit due to low ceilings. i have free weights as well and have the chance to go to a friends house where he has multiple bench setups to do shoulders. as you can see i am motivated to get back into it. i love it for health reasons it burns a lot of stress and makes you feel wonderful.

I love yoga. I do yoga x2/week as well as walking and some light jogging.
Yoga is my favorite exercise ever. It makes you feel so strong, toned & relaxed at the same time.

DatingGold 09-13-2009 12:45 AM

I try to go at least 3 times a week. 30 minutes cardio, 30+ minutes weights

Nicky 09-13-2009 12:45 AM

I looooove yoga. My teacher that I really liked got hurt a couple of years ago and I didn't find anyone else I wanted to go to. I started doing bjj and I just started doing yoga again once a week. I forgot how much I missed it. It makes your whole body feel good.

baddog 09-13-2009 01:03 AM

I ride a bicycle a couple miles, two times a day, every day that I am home.

Yoga is amazing. Anyone who says yoga isn't a workout (I've met those ppl) clearly have never done yoga either. ;) It can be really intense and afterwards you feel amazingly calm but your body is sore as hell.

I suggest finding another teacher or contacting your old teacher for a recommendation.

I sweat my ass of in yoga....some moves many here can not last more than 1 min :-)

You need serious strength and balance...

Hentaikid 09-13-2009 03:29 AM

Darkcrni 09-13-2009 05:17 AM

andrej_NDC 09-13-2009 05:43 AM

Just the regular work-out, bench, dead lifts, squats, etc...and some running or boxing if I feel that my condition sucks. :)

Fletch XXX 09-13-2009 05:57 AM

I actually enjoy doing and maintaining my own garden, yardwork, landscaping etc... during the summers down here it is a lot of work and keeps me in shape and feeling good despite the intense southern heat and humidity.

just maintaining our huge vegetable garden is enough to keep most in shape....

the reward? All the Habaneros and Red Hot Louisiana cayennes I can eat!

Lift weights every single day, before dinner(protein shake + more protein / veggies)

Do 75-100 pushups before bed every night

Edit: used to run 3 miles every day on tredmill but that was before I was building, uses too much calories while building mass

DiF0r 09-14-2009 03:08 AM

I go 3 times a week to the GYM, 20 min cardio and 60min weights

Sarah_Jayne 09-14-2009 04:21 AM

Walk the dogs about 30 minutes most mornings and then 40 minutes on exercise bike while watching something on dvd.

BlackCrayon 09-14-2009 04:27 AM

I need to start excerising more. After hearing my father had a second heart attack it has got me worried about my health as I get older. I used to bike for an hour or two everyday but I've been so busy this summer that it just didn't happen. Now winter is coming and that will make it twice as hard but we have an eliptical, I suppose I should make use of it even though I find it extremely boring. I prefer to be outside to excersize.
