epassporte problems

Why anyone assist on using epassporte to receive payment, beats the hell out of me!

I have had an account open with epassporte for a few years now, and I just recently tried to fund the account so I can send money to a TGP site owner who ONLY takes epassporte for money, and found out that It had a block on it for some needed documents. NO problem, I sent them in the same day that they requested them August 27th and they told me that my account was ready to use again, Wrong. Back on temporary funds protection mode, and have been in a continuous loop of going nowhere.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Contact Michael O.

He is the only one who works at ePass.

clearcut 09-18-2009 08:42 PM

Thanks, I will contact him.

J. Falcon 09-18-2009 08:50 PM

Yes contact Michael, he will get it straightened out.

I use epass because I think it is, by far, the best money service out there.

Due to their popularity, scammers are going to try to use them.

Things like account holds are done to protect them and their customers. It is extremely inconvenient for those that get caught in the filter ... but I have heard a lot worse stories about the other companies ... especially PayPal, who thinks they have free reign of YOUR money.

I am a huge epass fan. I use both my Electron and my virtual card multiple times per day. On a bad month I may spend up to $10 on fees with them ... on a good month I spend nothing or only a dollar or two.

I prefer payments by epass over everything else.

Although I've never had a problem, I've heard enough horror stories about their regular support channels. On the flip side, I know that when Michael O. is contacted with a problem it is immediately taken care of. So, while things aren't perfect (name any place where they are), we at least have somebody available to us that can get things done if the need arises.

OP: I know you're not hating on epass...just wanted to show the flip side...and why you probably came across a tgp owner that only accepts payment by epass in the first place.

I apologize for the problems you have had.
Please email me at [email protected] then I will look into it.

There are other options out there. Even FDIC insured ones. :2 cents:
Problem is not enough affiliate types have applied for it to allow it to gain a foothold. When/if that happens then I am positive we will see quality changes on both sides. Right now since they almost have a monopoly in this niche they have no reason to innovate, change, or really push for customer satisfaction.

clearcut 09-19-2009 06:25 AM

Thanks for everyones help and input. I have sent an email to Michael.

It's neither the affiliates' nor the sponsors' fault that the other companies are not smart enough to entice everyone to use them instead of the clusterfuck that is ePassporte. This tells me that either they're not interested enough in operating in this industry or they simply don't have enough knowledge to outcompete ePassporte.

I will give you that part. They did not figure out how to make a splash and gain interest in this business. Would of helped them a great deal if they would of hired a person or two who are not board whores, who could get the word out and drum up business on both ends. Combine that with a minimal add budget, and perhaps a few major give aways so they can get the cards into peoples hands. Fuck though why am I saying this here, I do not get a paycheck from them.

I think that there are lots of people who could've helped them, had they REALLY had an interest in overtaking ePassporte's spot. And yeah, you shouldn't be giving them ideas if they don't send you a paycheck. Send them my way instead and I'll charge them for tips. :Graucho
