Plain and simple if you make this happen you get $3000.00

The following is not an issue:

Surfer goes to a page it loads a flash movie

Surfer enters some test in a box like "john smith" and hits refresh and it adds that to the SWF.

Here is the problem, taking that SWF and turning it into a flv (with the new generated data).

The movie itself is 10-15 seconds long and wed like to have that done server side within 1 minute,

so they enter a value in a box and then encodes the flv with that data?

yes correct but because of what im doing a flv is a must, this is a final part to a larger project and it would really help allot

It can't be done as you have described. Simple as that... however, you can create a transparent PNG from form posted data and overlay it over the FLV. FFMPEG kind of sucks for that purpose but sothink has a way better encoder you can use... it's $600 to buy but it's worth every penny. It can also generate an swf player on the fly that contains the flv and I am fairly positive that this encoder can do it in under a minute. The trick will be dynamically sizing the text to fit into the fansign box and positioning the png over the flv. It shouldn't be super difficult since your flv is always the same size and you can put limits on the amount of text that can be used (the name).

It can be done on a windows server, but I don't think Mencoder can apply a watermark to the video. If the processing server was a windows server it would be pretty easy.

Witha price tag like that, must be hard to find... but i think someone here already told you why :thumbsup

You can make a png that isnt all jagged edged as well...
