Im feeling sadistic. So I think it shall be tostadas.

If I loose the sadistic feeling, I will make mini tostadas. Just use a round cutter on the corn tortillas, typically get 2 per tortilla. Each are like 1-2 bites. Much less mess.

Agent 488 10-12-2009 03:50 PM

i made a veggie pizza and eating it all day. that and a bottle of red. slow holiday here.

Agent 488 10-12-2009 03:55 PM

fuck the candy machines, start your own restaurant (or catering co.). you obviously have a taste for the nuances.

I have the coals on right now ... going to have grilled salmon on top of ice-berg lettuce salad with raspberry dressing. Grilling an extra piece to make salmon and cream-cheese omelets for breakfast.

Never grill anything without including something for your next meal.

Never could live the life of a chef or cook.
I love to cook and want to keep it that way. Having a restaurant or even cafe means living, dreaming, breathing, food above everything else. Then you also have the hours, sure a place may be open lunch and dinner only, yet people be working in there as early if not earlier than 9, and many will not leave until a few hours after closing time.

That shit is not in me. Especially at my age now, then toss in my disability and oh fuck that. I rather just be the guy who does food well, even the simple stuff. Plus that means people like to hang out at your place. Especially holiday time, which as an added perk pisses off a few relatives which I just love.

Seriously, If you always grill something for your next meal you eat so much better and it is so easy.

* Having burgers for dinner? The extra burger sliced up becomes a great Mexican omelet or taco for lunch.

* Steak, the extra filet thinly cut on top of a salad is wonderful.

* Same with chicken ...

Anyway ..... Big Red Machine, Reds fan?
