Wilsy 10-16-2009 03:57 AM

Its amazing the baby wasn't hurt.

irbobo 10-16-2009 03:57 AM

they should create a speed bump somewhere in there

alias 10-16-2009 03:59 AM

Talk about lucky.

spunky99 10-16-2009 04:00 AM

thats amazing.. also sad that the woman wasnt paying better attention too

themadwriter 10-16-2009 04:08 AM

i say it was neglect on the mothers part!

FUCKING IDIOT!

Raf1 10-16-2009 04:14 AM

shit, it's amazing the baby survived

seeandsee 10-16-2009 06:05 AM

god saved the baby

rowan 10-16-2009 06:40 AM

The mother is lucky she didn't instinctively jump or even trip/slip off the platform, the outcome for her would have been far less positive...

I hope she'll learn to use the park brakes on her new stroller!

tranza 10-16-2009 07:33 AM

This baby got 7 lifes.

Trixxxia 10-16-2009 07:41 AM

Truly amazing the baby wasn't hurt. Also, I think 99% of mothers come into a moment of distraction and then realize how things could have gone - just most, thankfully, don't have something like this to deal with in a day.

Regarding the speed bump - I always wondered why they didn't have some mini-rail coming up from under the floor once the train leaves that would remain until the next one comes in. This way, it would prevent things from rolling off, blind people to walk and fall into (for places that don't have the bumpy markings) etc...

area51 - BANNED FOR LIFE 10-16-2009 07:43 AM

stupid fucking cunt

Hentaikid 10-16-2009 10:07 AM

I once stopped a pram from rolling off into the road

I am a hero!

Scott McD 10-16-2009 10:15 AM

DID NOTHING WRONG WTFFFFFFFF ?????????

So if the baby died she would still have done nothing wrong ?? What a fucking idiot mother...:2 cents:

Scott McD 10-16-2009 10:18 AM

This actually pisses me off so much because i see bitches here all the time who simply don't take the kids hand when around or crossing a busy road.

I've had 2 near misses personally believe it or not with kids running out in front of me, while the mother stands and talks to someone else.

Yet if the driver of the car hits the kid, it's the drivers and nobody elses fault. :disgust

JenniDahling 10-16-2009 10:19 AM

It only takes a second for ANYTHING to happen!!!! Although she's an idiot for not putting the brakes on, especially since the pram was already being pushed around by the wind.

The police should send her to the equivalent of traffic school for strollers.

C_U_Next_Tuesday 10-16-2009 10:22 AM

Looked like a serious mistake she made.. but I sure as fuck wouldnt crucify her for it. She would have been the one that suffered if anything more serious would have happened to her child. Some of you fucks are so fucking self righteous and probably had your mommas do alot worse when you were growing up.

MetaMan 10-16-2009 10:24 AM

here's something crazy, PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES!

dont think someone elses mistake is bigger then yours ive learnt that long time ago. shit CAN and WILL happen. it is a freak accident we dont need police involved in every negative situation in our lives.

Martin 10-16-2009 10:25 AM

Damn!!! Thats fucked up, but I don't see what she did wrong as in she didn't do it on purpose. She fucked up big time. Thankfully her baby lived.

Newer stations in the same city have a series of discs near the edge of the platform. I think it's intended to be tactile so blind people can feel it, but it would also help prevent things rolling onto the track.

Some systems have matching doors in the station that line up with the train's doors.

Penthouse Tony 10-16-2009 10:41 AM

She slips when she first starts running for the stroller. I wonder if she doesn't slip how it would have played out. Could have been much worse if she wasn't able to get there in time to save the baby but in time to jump after it or even suspend the stroller above the tracks for even a second longer.

96ukssob 10-16-2009 10:46 AM

Wow that is fucking nuts. if that was my wife, her ass would be pushed in front of the train after that. not that she did it intentionally, but so she would learn not to walk away from a stroller :1orglaugh

no shit. i cant stand how the police get involved on this kind of stuff. how about spending your time going to solve crimes and catch criminals and not try to bloat your shitty police force for responding to this action

WTF do you want. You want in her in prison? I think the whole experience is pretty much lesson learned. Now get off of it. $1000 says you don't even have kids so STFU.

CyberHustler 10-16-2009 10:56 AM

Where did i mention prison. She is still an idiot though.

Of all places to apply the brakes, a train station would surely be one of those places. She was given 2 or more warnings already when the pram moved away. Yet she STILL wouldn't apply the fucking breaks.

I wonder if we would be saying "ah well, lesson learned" if the baby had actually died...

CyberHustler 10-16-2009 12:31 PM

lol @ the word pram. It's a fucking carriage or stroller... fuck is a pram?

I know I have been bumped from behind in my chair and had my front wheels damn near fall off the edge, which without quick reflexes = head over onto tracks.
Especially as the train approaches, cause people push forward. Yet as a double suck you almost have to be up front in a chair to make sure you can even get on the damn train.

Maybe if you put some time and effort into educating yourself you'd realise that there is more than your own country on this planet.

Who? That baby was strapped into it's fucking seat, that's what saved it's life. Do you really think there is a god who picks and chooses which babies to save? Does god ignore all the babies who die from malnourishment and disease? You need to take a serious look at how you view the world if you really believe there was some sort of divine intervention here.

lol... maybe god was like "I'm hungry... who will get me some toast? I need this baby" and then at the last minute his aid brought him his toast and he was all like "never mind..... "

but seriously.. I hope this girl doesn't drive a car with a stick shift!!! :2 cents:

I think it wasn't her fault. You can see in the video it was extremely windy weather, the thing was just blown towards the tracks.

nekrom 10-17-2009 12:46 AM

Shit I'm more surprised there was a train, Kosky and Brumby must have chipped in and got some new ones delivered. :)

Well said!

Americans forget that they actually speak ENGLISH, yet when an English person uses a word which Americans have somehow changed over the years, they get all pissed...
