Great show! 1 season in and they won't be airing it next week!!! I hope FX or HBO picks it up.
Does anyone else watch it? The finale was pretty crazy!

I was really looking forward to the next season. The characters were just starting to get interesting and the finale was insane. This is really a bummer.

I hope one of the cable networks picks it up.

Jay Leno has the 10 oclock spot and the show is too gritty they say for the earlier times.

I was reading about this today. There will be other shows canceled too. When NBC moved Leno to 10pm that takes up 5 prime time slots each week for them to air shows so they canceled Southland (I liked it too) and either has or will be canceling others.

I like Jay Leno but I think it was a horrible move putting him on at 10. He is just not good enough for that slot...

I couldn't believe they canceled Southland it was really getting good.

Doubt HBO would.
However I do think they would be a good fit for any network beyond abc, fox, or cbs. Thinking tnt, usa, or maybe spike.

It's a hell of a lot cheaper than producing new, original content.

I liked Southland. Was looking forward to the next season. Hope someone picks it up. Didn't it only have 6-7 episodes the first season? Really was just getting started.
