Am I wrong in thinking that the GOP is constantly saying that the federal government is too large and that the power should remain with the states? Aren't they the anti big government party?

They have always wanted to regulate morality but never big business. Pretty obvious why. Big business and religious fantatics are some of their biggest contributors.
