WP link problem

Hi: I've just noticed that when I add link to every photo on my blog, results are different, actually, there is no proper link photo, but some generic wp link. Until recently, it worked fine (you can see it on older posts).

Do you know where problem can be?

thanks

I'm afraid you'll have to share some WP login details with someone you trust to get a closer look at it.

What exactly is the problem? Your images link to strapon-torture.info/page/page/? Like twice? Rather than just to strapon-torture.info/page/?

I can't see anything that looks like a "generic wp link"

Looks like you have the pics linked to the 'attachment page' in the wp image gallery settings. Is that what you mean by generic wp link?

Yes, thank you, probably generic wasn't good description so I've made a confusion, but that's it, instead of having my refferal link (or any other link) on image I am getting that link.

Is this a bug or there is a way to fix this? I didn't change anything as you can see on older posts everything is normal.

thank you guys

yep, but it shouldn't go to any of these, it should go to normal affiliate refferal link.

thanks

I think that's what WP does if it thinks you're making a gallery. There is a piece of WP shortcode [gallery] that tries to automate production of thumbnail galleries, by linking images to attachments. Try to avoid using it in the "Image Upload" dialog.

1. Are the links changing when you Publish the posts?
2. What WP version are you using?
3. Can you see reference to the [gallery] code when editing the post?

The fastest solution will probably be to edit the post, delete the image that's there, and add the image from its URL, then adding a link at the same time.

Hopefully that will bypass WP trying to create a gallery for you.

thank you for your time. I've just found solution but didn't find reason why this is happening. I am always using latest version, (2.9 in this moment). I didn't change anything in settings from latest updated when everything was fine. Links are changed whenever I save post.

Solution for anyone having same problem is next (unfortunately, one more additional step when posting): Once you finish, in visual layout click on image properties. At the bottom of that window, there is LINK field. click NONE below it. After doing this, you can now add link as you did until now.
