Had no idea when 12 even hit.

did something, It was my gf's parents anniversary. Started drinking and doing shots at 1pm was in bed by 9 lol

i was trying to make my son sleeping and we both fell asleep so i woke up at 2 am like WTF?

I went to Nathan Phillips Square. We had a blast. The rappers dropped lyrical bombs, they really did.

I used to go to concerts for New Year's Eve (lots of Grateful Dead New Years Eve shows back in the day), however in recent years, I prefer hanging at home, having a nice dinner, and partying quietly.

As in past years, I bopped online to check out the news and GFY every so often, and then got a good night's sleep in preparation for a day of watching football.

I party a fair amount, so I figure let the amateur partyers do their thing on New Year's Eve, and I'll do mine the other 364 days... :winkwink:

I think new years is stupid and I hate being sucked into the overpriced party scene...

...but i was bored that night and decided to go out for a bit anyway :1orglaugh

I had a blast.

Watched the midnight fireworks in Melbourne from my car (it was raining/storming and I had my daughter with me). Found a good vantage spot a few years ago, but this is the first time I've had to stay in the car. :thumbsup :1orglaugh

Just partied at home with some friends :winkwink:

Worked on some stuff till 8, watched a movie with my kids, asleep by 11.

I was dead drunk,so i dont remember what i was doing then.

Wife was sick and I can't stand explosions/fireworks anymore.... = stayed home!

I wish I'd stayed at home...

Stayed at home, drank a couple of gin & tonics, watched the midnight fireworks, went to bed.

Saw the New Year in with family. Far too old to get hammered nowadays. :)

I always stay in on New Years, sure had a great dinner, some wine and bubbely...but that was it

New years has always been amateur night out, i stay away from it.

I was at home and did nothing special just relaxing...

I went to bed at about 10:30. It was about as eventful as new years 10 years ago - A WHOLE FUCKING "NOTHING HAPPENED" day.

Fucked my neighbors GF because he went out - got drunk and passed out - and she needed a little lovin!

Cooked homemade Japanese sushi dinner with son-inlaw's family. Sushi, tempura, gobo, miso, ocha and much more made from scratch.

Came home and took a nap. Woke up at 10 pm and wandered off to bed.

Heard fireworks at midnight, rolled over, and went back to sleep.

Awoke to new decade, well rested and ready for action.

Sweet!

Stayed home, had fun with the family.

Did nothing either. Hate New Years. Filled with people who get drunk once or twice a year and act like morons.

here every bar sells tickets for new years, and im not gonna buy a ticket for a bar.. so just tried to get in some bars around 2 am.. bouncer we know let us in without a damn ticket.. and i had a blast!

We stayed in due to a sick baby girl. My girlfriend made us an amazing dinner and we watched the second season of Dexter:thumbsup Kissed them both at 12 :)

Gerco, your night sounds similar to mine apart from after 11 I played the PS3 with the kids and enjoyed a few beers with the misses before counting the new year in by watching the fireworks in London on the TV.:thumbsup

I ate potatosalad and small sausages. I also watched Hangover-movie. My wife fell asleep at 9:30pm. It was WILD.

Drugged with champagne by the wife and promised all kinds of sexual favors to go see New Moon... Of course none of the sex happened but I carried a nice buzz past 12am...

Nada. My son and I cooked hamburgers and shot off fireworks. I thought about taking him downtown to watch the bands but it was too damn cold so we drove down the road to check out the dud of a display downtown a few minutes before 12 came home watched a movie and crashed..

Dude I think you need a vagina to enjoy that movie. Fucking awful.

visited some friends in romania and went to the mountains for a couple days. some really beautiful views and a few too many vodkas

We did nothing.

Usually we go into town or something but it always ends up a pain in the ass as everything is over priced, you can never get a taxi home, and it's full of drunken attention seeking assholes.

So i sat in with the gf, watched tv for a bit, had a few drinks, then got a good sleep. Woke up the next day feeling fine! Glad i didn't go out!! :thumbsup

I starting writting a new php script. It hit midnight and I figure I would start a new system. :)

Went to a hotel party, listened to a couple of decent bands, had a couple of beers and ended up catching a nasty cold :( I wish I had of stayed home.
