Warning your pc is infected!

I get this scam pop up a lot when clicking on thumbs on tgps/tubes to check on my galleries, check on trades etc..

Anyone else getting them? Hard to tell if its from the site I'm looking at or one of their trades.. so I can't really contact them and say X site might have a virus on it..

it sounds like you have spyware/adware on your computer

run this from safe mode:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/

PornMD 01-15-2010 12:20 AM

It's maybe the only truthful scam out there - if you're getting random pop-ups on sites that you shouldn't be that are telling you your PC is infected, then your PC is infected. They speak the truth!

I agree, malwarebytes runs perfectly

ArsewithClass 01-15-2010 03:32 AM

I use this http://www.stopzilla.com/products/stopzilla/home.do

I never have problems of which it found the problem I had in the first place. You dont have to pay for the subscription which gives you tonnes of other stuff. You can just keep all the bed stuff in the vault, for a tenna its worth it though. :thumbsup

CPimp 01-15-2010 04:18 AM

Sounds like something installed itself on your computer.

NO ONE SHOULD INSTALL THIS.

Let's read some reviews:

"This program isn't a spyware, or malicious software cleaner nor blocker. but poorly blocks pop-up ads from being seen on your screen. Don't let them lie to you and say that it blocks or destroys any infection. If you want a good pop-up blocker get Yahoo Toolbar with Anti-Spy. This program is Free and has no 3rd party software or infections.I don't recommend this product at all. "

"Scanner hardly picks any spyware.Adaware detected 16 spyware on my computer and Stopzilla only detected 7 spyware.Uninstall is very hard, it only removes 50% of it's program and rest gets left behind which can cause blue screen and errors.Use Adaware or spybot instead of this and they are free."

"would i waste my time or even my computer on this? no! and i recommend you not. you can search it in the internet to see how bad the reputation this program has. even if u dare to try it, you'll probably gone insane for it's uninstall problem or if it ruins your PC. don't try stopzilla, it'll stop your system instead of the bad guys."

"Can not be uninstalled cleanly. Repeated bootup errors after program uninstalled. File szkg can not be removed from the system and keeps causing the bootup error message."

sicone 01-15-2010 04:52 AM

I remember the first time I was on the internet too

DamianJ 01-15-2010 04:55 AM

Oh and another thing, those ads you see where it says GIRLS WANT TO FUCK YOU TONIGHT, and there are like loads of girls from YOUR HOME CITY?

That's not true either.

DamianJ 01-15-2010 04:56 AM

Oh yea, and if you get an email telling you to fwd it to everyone you know and you will get disneyland tickets/free M&Ms/GAP clothing etc.

That's bs too.

ok... you got me, I can't remember 3 days ago.

cybermike 01-15-2010 09:43 AM

Funny you all think I'm a "newb" I had a shell script hack on one of my sites that even my host didn't see until I asked them to scan because I got a couple of people getting redirects.. but I never seen them on my own sites..

I believe some of these sites are hacked and redirect people to this popup.. call me stupid if you wish.. my computer is virus free

MrBottomTooth 01-15-2010 09:53 AM

I get this too very rarely on thepiratebay.org and some tube sites.

It is ads that are running that do it. Pretends to be a fake virus scan.

My computer is clean.

If you are stupid and click on the ad, then it will install some sort of spyware / virus masquerading as an antivirus program.

danclips 01-15-2010 10:41 AM

vundo virus. Malwarebytes is the tool, but you need to shut down the virus first using rkill, or it won't work.

"call me stupid if you wish.. my computer is virus free"

Don't bet on that.

You talking about that one that makes a web page that looks like your my computer area. And it show some drives and then a satus bar of the download. and in the mean time you can close or click on shit.

The first time I saw it I knew it was fake, But that fucking thing almost took over. I just shut down as fast I could.

cybermike 01-17-2010 04:44 PM

http://antispyware-security9.com/s1/... yNjM3McEMNQkN is an example of the one that pops

Webmasters are pushing it. Used to see shit like that all the time when I was running Submitpasses. Then you get the usual "oh no my server must was hacked, I no bad guy bro!!!" when you confront them about it.

I wanted to buy some traffic-out today and the first gallery he clicked on he got a virus popup redirect. Looks like my smart thumb sites got hacked/infected and I'm sure the ones I was talking about where too
