Since he helped write it, he would split the writing/publishing credits with Too Short.

But the song won't be played on the radio and that's where most people make their money. They get a few cents every time a song is played but it adds up. Also gets points from the album sales.

I grew up in the Bay Area in the 70's ..During the 80's Too Short used to hang out in west Oakland around the Oakland colosseum selling his tunes and pimpin ho's and just hanging out.. He has come a long way since then..
