Whats a good budget for starting a new tube?

Im just cuirouse what most of you think is a reasonable budget when starting up a tube. Or what is the ideal budget? Like; script, design, links, etc...
So is this a good starting point?
$150 - script
$350 - design
$500 - links
$1,000 - Total

I spent no money - http://www.lassitor.com
I have free hosting, free tube skin, free content.

It costs whatever you want to invest in it. There is nobody who can give you a required budget. Really, you could set u^p a complete tube site with as little as $10, going up to $10,000 or even more. The amount of your own time you want to invest in it, is what will make things cheaper or more expensive.

May I ask you what exactly you're trying to achieve with this thread then? The budget you need is the cost of the scripts, design, and host. Everything else, including SEO and promotional stuff depends on yourself. What are your skills? Can you do the SEO yourself? Do you have any free time to invest in the creation of the website? Or are you simply looking for a reply like "The more money you invest in promotional campaigns, the more visitors you will get"? It's generally known that with money, you make more money.

Nobody can give you an accurate budget to start a tube site from scratch. Only YOU and calculate that price for yourself. Count the costs of the scripts, design and host together and you have your "budget" to start with. Nobody can tell you what it is gonna cost after that. So if you consider my post as spam, then your whole thread may be considered as spam aswell, as the answer is obviously stupid if your IQ is higher than 5.

For so far my "spam". Have a nice day.

How about programming it yourself instead of using buggy, limited-featured scripts?
It's really not rocket science to make a tube with PHP.

0$ Tube Script + 8$ Domain name and 9.95$ Hosting fee per month = Very Cheap

You can do it with 0$ if you already have a existing domain name and hosting.

I recommend WordPress as your CMS.
It can do pretty much anything with a free custom theme and tons of plugins available.

In my past, I've started up websites that became successful using no money at all.

However, I did invest my time and effort.
