Do lists of emails still sell? and if so, how much do they go for?

Is it worth gathering these for the purpose of selling them? Or am I better off advertising to those emails through weekly/monthly news letters?

yes they are worth, keep gathering them.

Get a nice program so they can opt out and hit them up with legit ads.

The problem is, with the massive risk people take for being tagged a "spammer" and the recent rash of lawsuits and criminal trials against adults sending out spam, it's not the market it once was.

I think you are probably best served just using them for your own newsletters and maybe selling an ad space in your newsletter.
