In California, 192,660 citizen children are getting welfare checks passed through their illegal immigrant parents. That costs $546 million a year in state, federal and county funds, officials say.

If these figures are true, we need a change, those checks are going to the parents, they are illegal aliens, how the fuck can this work?

how would you propose giving welfare to a minor citizen but not their illegal parents?

ship the parents home, put the kids in adoption, or they can go with the parents

I believe the law is that if a child is born in the United States, they get citizenship, but the parents do not. Anyone know why that is a law? I really don't understand it. What's the point?

If I was traveling with my make-believe pregnant wife to Canada and she had the baby two months early... I would not expect Canadian citizenship. I wouldn't even want Canadian citizenship. There are a fair amount of hard-working foreigners that would love American citizenship and can't get it, but we give it to babies of foreigners just because?

By the way... even though most people would probably agree that the law needs to change, it most likely never will. The Hispanic population is building a lot of clout with the politicians, politicians are not going to take them on.
