FBSD, how I missed thee.
Got a non-managed FreeBSD dedicated the other day, feels like home.
Anyone else use FBSD? I won't be managing all my servers but it is nice to have one set up with my own weird nameservers etc again. |
freebsd is the shizzle. ports are nice and comfy

I used FreeBSD because it's the Fort Knox of operating systems.
Plus I loathe the GPL. |
FreeBSD for life
I'd even use it as a desktop machine if flash/java didn't suck on it. |
been using it for over 10 years, after using linux for 6 years.
Holly shit, time flies. |

*BSD is good. Linux is also good. It all depends on the skills of the administrator. :D

I've almost always used FreeBSD for webservers and Solaris/Linux for DB server. Found that to be the best combination :thumbsup

Seriously though I use the Lynx browser still, how many can say that (or know why I use it ) :winkwink: |
My servers are all openbsd and freebsd :thumbsup

Was about to install Linux in 1996 when someone suggested to go for FreeBSD instead... I trusted his judgement and haven't looked back since. :thumbsup I currently have about 8 machines running FreeBSD.
